- Frivilligsentralen (heretter kalt Sentralen) skal være en lokal forankret møteplass, åpen for alle som har lyst til å delta innen frivillig virksomhet. Sentralen skal samarbeide med lokale frivillige organisasjoner, lag / foreninger og det offentlige, og være et bindeledd. Sentralen skal drives etter retningslinjer for frivilligsentraler fastsatt av statlige myndigheter v/Kulturdepartementet. Sentralen skal initiere, mobilisere, stimulere og samordne frivillig aktivitet.
