- Hedmark Bygdeundgodmslag (HBU) skal drive opplysningsvirksomhet enten gjennom lokallaga eller i egen regi. HBU skal legge arbeidet til rette for lokallaga og være bindeledd mellom lokallaga og hovedorganisasjonen. Fylkeslaget skal arbeide for større tilslutning til NBU i eksitrerende lokallag og gjennom oppstarting av nye lag. HBU skal samarbeide med Norges Bondelag og Norges Bygdekvinnelag i fylke.
