- Ein partipolitisk, uavhengig fagforeining for pedagogisk personale innanfor alle utdanningsnivå. Utdanningsforbundet ivaretek medlemmene sine når det gjeld utdanningspolitiske spørsmål. Utdanningsforbundet arbeider for at born, unge og vaksne får eit kvalitativt godt opplæringstilbod, og at utdanning skal ha ei sentral rolle i samfunnet.
