- Foreininga skal arbeide for å fremje jakt og fiske som næring i sitt geografiske område. Det skal arbeide for god jakt- og fiskekultur, og ved opplysningsarbeid gje folk rett forståing for naturen og dyrelivet. Laget skal, i samarbeid med jakt- og fiskelag i distriktet, ivareta både ålmenta og grunneigarane sine interesser.
