- Dens formål er å støtte arbeidet innenfor utdanning, landbruk, helse, demokratisk utvikling og respekt for menneskerettigheter i Somaliland (nord-Somalia). I dette skal komitéen samarbeide med organisasjoner og institusjoner som vil og kan støtte utviklingsarbeidet i Somaliland gjennom støtte til prosjekter, samt opplysnings- og pådriverarbeid i Norge.
