- Foreningens hovedformål er kunnskapsformidling innenfor de kommunaltekniske fagområdene. Dette vil gjennomføres ved fagsamlinger med undervisning og fagekskursjoner med undervisning. Det vil trolig bli arrangert to fagsamlinger hvert år, og en fagekskursjon annet hvert år.
