- Kulturavdelingen består av kulturarv og allmenn kultur. Allmenn kultur har oppgaver knyttet til kulturlivet i fylket, med vekt på fylkeskommunen sine arbeidsområder. Arbeidet innenfor kulturarv skal bidra til å forvalte vår nasjonale og regionale kulturarv og gjennom dette skape grunnlag for innsikt og forståelse for egen historie og bakgrunn.
