Vellaget er eigd og dreven av alle husstandane som til ein kvar tid er medlem i vellaget. Vellaget har som oppgåve å skape trivsel i nærmiljøet, opparbeide og vedlikehalde felles leikeplass, samordne og ta opp felles problemstillingar, representere vellaget i fellessaker og andre oppgåver som årsmøte bestemmer.
