- LKB skal søke å ivareta interessene til kvinner med bekkenløsningsplager ved å spre informasjon om lidelsene til rammede kvinner, deres pårørende og helsepersonell som kommer i kontakt med disse kvinnene. LKB skal videre arbeide for økt kunnskap og forskning på området, samt bedre behandlingstilbud, hjelpeordninger og trygderettigheter for kvinner med bekkenløsningsplager.
