Stiftelsen skal også arbeide for debatt og engasjement rundt temaene krig, fred og konfliktløsning. Virksomheten skal rette seg mot et bredt publikum både i Norge og i utlandet. Ulike typer virksomhet bestemmes nærmere av stiftelsens styre og kan være utstillinger, arrangementer, undervisningstilbud og andre tilbud som vekker allmennhetens interesse og engasjement.
